Bear and trains birthday cake.
I can’t believe it’s been almost two year since I made this cake for our Little Johnny. Omg time flies, it feels like yesterday my younger son was just born! Our little Johnny loves his teddy bears and balloons, he brings them along everywhere. He also does not discriminate other boy toys like cars, trains and dinosaurs. He is still a baby and I wanted to recreate something more babyish in a boy’s way. Last year his party theme was hot air balloon and this year he guided me to teddy bears. It is so cute when he gets home after school and he hugs them and kisses them.
The bottom tier was covered in my favorite color light lime green (it is also the color of his room), I spelled out his name in my favorite boy color palette. The top tier covered in light sky blue color and had number 2 and clouds and balloons throughout the cake. His other favorite Choo-choo train made out of Rice Krispy treats was going around the cake with surprise- bears on top and inside of a cabin. The wagon carried building blocks and balloons (Johnny’s favorite too). His mini dessert table included his favorite cake pops in the shape of teddy bears, bear cupcakes (coconut and banana) and cookies as favors.
The cake flavors were vanilla cake with passionfruit cream and chocolate with hazelnut buttercream and hazelnuts.
Happy Birthday and I love you so much my Little Big Boy!
