We were thrilled when Daphne contacted us to make a cake for her daughters Christening. She provided us with a simple idea of what she would want to see on a cake and we simply listened. We made this cake unique as any cake should be. The most complicated cake is not the one that has many elements, it’s the one that has the least. Gorgeous, simple, yet complicated to make.
The top tier decorated in the blush pink fondant. The meticulous design of fondant sugar pearls individually attached around the cake as a band, it added elegance and sophistication to the cake. The bottom tier was decorated in slightly darker blush pink buttercream rosettes. The sugar rose adds a little drama but keeps it simple and beautiful.
The flavor of the cake was chocolate and vanilla with our delicious Vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream.
