Few month before the wedding we had an opportunity to meet Tess and Jason. One of the most gorgeous couples we have seen. The wedding theme was “Great Gatsby”. We were able to create an absolutely stunning cake for their unforgettable day.
The cake was six tiers and decorated in ivory fondant. Each tier was decorated in it’s own simple or complicated way. The bottom tier was decorated in quilted pattern and golden sugar pearls. The second tier had endless sugar ruffles that everyone just wanted to touch. Third tier was a double height tier and decorated in golden fondant stripes and since it’s a double tier we count it as two tiers together. Fifth tier decorated in sugar pearls, may we just add that it’s takes lots of pearls to wrap the cake. The top tier was decorated in quilted pattern as well and had golden sugar initial as well as ostrich feathers.
The flavors of the cake were lemon cake and passion fruit buttercream, chocolate cake with French cream and by Jason’s request we added black cherries to it, coconut cake with hazelnut buttercream and banana cake with nutella filling.
The cake was delivered to The IATSE Ballroom and complimented the decorations in the venue.
