Traditional Uzbek rice pilaf cake.
Few month ago we had an opportunity create this cake for celebration of Uzbekistan day in Unite States. The cake was carved and shaped into bowl filled with traditional rice pilaf, quail eggs, side of tandoori bread and salad bowl. The bottom tier was hand painted and decorated in Uzbeki style table cloth.The bowl was covered in navy blue fondant with hand cut decorations of traditional cotton pattern. Inside of this rice bowl- there was a red velvet cake and cream cheese and vanilla cake with meringue and caramel buttercream.
The cake was huge and so heavy. We posted a picture of Satin Ice fondant bucket to compare how big this cake is.
The cake was delivered to Manhattan, New York.
